Stonehouse
Stonehouse are an original Blues Rock Band.
Formed in December 2010. Three friends with a passion for playing music. A full band three piece includes Colin Roberts vocals, bass guitar and acoustic guitar; Nathan Owen electric and acoustic guitars; Deian Elfryn drums, Cajun drum, and backing vocals. Not only do Stonehouse perform as a hard hitting blues rock three piece, but also they regularly perform as an acoustic outfit. They have recently drafted in Owen Evans accomplished double bass player to deepen and complete the acoustic set dynamics.
Individually, each member brings a wealth of experience to the Stonehouse table. Colin most recently of blues rock band Karac, who are well known on the blues rock festival circuit, notably Colne, Maryport, Worthenbury, & Skegness Rock and Blues Festivals.
Colin was featured in the established Music Maker magazine (Dec 2010), and most recently (March 2011) in the Acoustic magazine for his singer songwriting abilities. As a bass player Colin regularly plays bass for popular welsh band Y Moniars. Nathan is an accomplished pianist and an incredibly gifted guitarist. Sited by the legendary blues singer and Radio 2 blues presenter Paul Jones, for his abilities as a young blues guitarist. Nathan has also played regularly at Rock and Blues festivals notably Colne, and Burnley as guitarist in the blues rock band Feely.
He has also toured Europe. He is also a member of the welsh band Y Moniars. An incredibly modest and passionate musician. Deian, drummer extraordinaire. A huge bank of experience. Hehas toured Europe and America with various bands, and is most recently the former drummer of rock band Queensbury. Deian is also a regular member of welsh band Y Moniars; and also of giants Amsterdam. Regular session drummer for theatre and Tv shows. A passionate musician to the core. Any band would benefit from his experience, and many have.
Collectively, Stonehouse produce dynamic soulful music, whether its performed acoustically or as a full band, the audience are seemingly captivated.
