CEG Music CIC
CEG (Cerddoriaeth Eryri a’r Gogledd) was formed in 2016 as a North West Wales collective of songwriters and creative musicians, based in and around Snowdonia.
The members of CEG came together to co-promote each others works and events, share experiences, knowledge and information and help and enable each others works to reach wider audiences through collaborative working.
In the relatively short time that CEG has been in existence, they have worked with various partners to provide quality local music line up for numerous events, including some of the more prestigious festivals in our area such as Festival No. 6 in Portmeirion, and the Gwledd Conwy Feast, to name but two.
CEG’s primary focus is in showcasing some of the best in local musically creative talent of all genres, ages and backgrounds, and also seeks to help to create a pathway for new emerging talent to develope and progress (e.g. The Yn y Golau project which was run with Gwynedd Council in 2016). Working as a collective community CEG believes we can all play a part in supporting and achieving our collective and individual aims.
