Local singer-songwriter Eve Goodman returns to her North Wales roots with the final gig in her ‘Hometown Tour’ series. She will be releasing her EP ‘Low Sun’ on CEG Records online, and live at Blue Sky Cafe Bangor, on Friday 16th of June from 7pm.
Creative nomad Eve Goodman currently lives in Cornwall, and has been writing from her cabin on a farm, and recording. Through her brand new EP, Low Sun, and in her recent writing, Eve is exploring the dynamics of finding your voice as a woman, as a human being, in a world that is shifting, and getting louder. Against the noise, Eve offers the harmony of a quietly strong, self-knowing voice in her journey towards peace and understanding through music and silence. Her caramel vocals and captivating stage presence will entice you in, and invite you to come a little closer…
As well as her own mesmerising originals, the EP features Eve’s popular arrangement of a traditional welsh folk song Dacw ‘Nghariad, as recently played on Fox Sport’s airing of the UEFA Champion’s League 2017 event held in Cardiff. The singer’s personal arrangement has proven popular and is approaching 1 million views on YouTube.
Eve is CEG Records latest acquisition, and a welcome member of the CEG collective and stable of quality artists that is CEG Records.
Eve's near future includes:
- performing Dacw ‘Nghariad at Pontio for Noson Lawen on the 18th June, which will be recorded for S4C.
- Eve is planning on a Living Room Tour of Europe this Autumn with fellow singer songwriter Josh Savage.
- Eve will be recording a Welsh language EP consisting of her own unique arrangement of traditional folk songs this winter.
