So, we've had a little flurry of releases over these recent weeks, all showcased on an amazing night we hosted at the Blue Sky Bangor live music venue on 28.11.18. 

These include Eve Goodman, who has now released her CARNafan EP recorded earlier this summer as part of her residency with the CARN arts project and group. She spent one month spending time in the CARN caravan pitched on the quayside in Caernarfon. Welcoming visitors, hearing their tales, and converting the resulting conversations into the tracks you can hear on this EP. The EP is presently 'only' available via the CEG Records site on her page here. You can watch the video for the track Angor on youtube here.

Courteous Thief then gave us seamless renditions of his recent single Take me Higher, and taunted us with his latest release Mountains & Sea, available via CEG Records now but due for wider release as of December 15th across all platforms. And finally we had Worldwide Welshman, who had his London release event week prior where his undeniably catchy Christmas single Jingle Bells, Christmas Sells was set free on the world. On this night he released his debut album Worldwide Welshman Volume 1. His performance that night was superb, with his scratch band for the night (Ben Ford - percussion, Ed Wright - Violin, Roger Hughes - Bass). His songs are inspired, quirky, intelligent and playful. Kicking off the night we have the Worldwide Welshman, mr Liam Rickard. Originally of Betws y Coed he now operates out of ‘the London’, though his roots are very much grounded here in the North of Wales. He will be releasing his new single and album (on CEG Records) on this night! 

Followed hotly on the heels by Ms Eve Goodman & friend/s.  

Having released her debut EP Low Sun in 2017 on CEG Records (as our first release :), her own spellbinding take on Welsh folk song Dacw Nghariad has subsequently hit over a million views on YouTube! She has also previously worked in collaboration with renowned influential and prolific Welsh singer/songwriter, Aled Rheon as a part of his band, The Gorgeous Charge. 

And topping the night we will have Indie/folk singer/songwriter mr Courteous Thief. With a vibe that has been compared to the likes of Ben Howard and Damien Rice, his recent releases have been hitting playlists on BBC Radio Wales, BBC Introducing, & BBC 6 Music amongst others. On this night he will be releasing a version of his winter track, Mountains & Sea with a limited edition ep available for one night only.
