So Roger (Hughes) has finally released a track! wowsers... oft too busy just trying to make things happen, and then with all the COVID issues caused in the ability to play live, Roger says that his career has always relied on his live output to keep him going. And his songwriting has often flowed in sync with that. Not so much the initial writing, but the refining and arranging could and tended to be worked on during testing new tracks at live performances. But without that outlet Roger says it's been hard to adjust to working on the songs in a different way.

'I wrote a fair amount during the 2nd lockdown mainly, the first one I had COVID pretty bad, and then long COVID, which was rough', so with all the best intentions he didn't seem to get much done until the 2nd lockdown, 'and then what with other life priorities it just takes so much longer to get stuff worked on, down and recorded.'

But this new track is a sign of things to come. Having been recording and rehearsing with a new line up, Moody Hughes & The Flashlights. Certainly an interesting name, we look forward to hearing more from them in and throughout the new year, 2023.
